Mr. Vampire's Breath Scented Candle
The owner grew up on the Mr. Vampire films, then the My Date with a Vampire series, and still goes back to the estate-block scenes in Rigor Mortis. Nearly every one of them has the shot where the jiangshi takes a long open-mouthed breath.
Which raises a question nobody asks: after a century without brushing, and that hungry, what does that breath actually smell like?
This is our answer, and it is the least acceptable thing we have made. Rotting meat crossed with a mouth long unbrushed, plus a metallic spice to bring in blood. A few minutes with it is enough to turn your stomach — halfway through making it we finally understood why the Taiwanese release of Mr. Vampire was called Hold Your Breath.
We were genuinely torn about releasing it, mostly because every order means smelling it again. We decided it was worth it.
